Karen has cleverly devised this perfect travel set from a single piece of fabric that includes a folded sewing kit and a tool pouch.
Lynne has designed a stunning cushion using tiny Dresden plates and stars that will introduce you to a whole range of techniques.
And Jo has been inspired yet again by our feathered friends to create this adorable Dream Birds coin purse, complete with a fully lined pocket and embroidery embellishment.

We are Jo, Karen and Lynne, three British designers, teachers and authors with many years' experience in quilting and sewing. Over the last few years we have also amassed a huge amount of experience in online teaching and video tutorials. Through our online Academy we can now take this shared wisdom to the next level by offering a whole year of online tuition.

Join us for a whole year and make our new BOM quilt!
In the fourth month of each term, we are going to be bringing you a brand new Block Of The Month Quilt with small, large and medium blocks to work on. Make each of the blocks once for a lap/cot quilt sized throw (43" x 51" with border), make four of each for a large bed quilt (78" x 88") or mix things up and design your own size.

Come and join us for the second term of Academy 2025/26 which is all about Shapes and includes the second batch of blocks of our new Block of the Month program as well as the three monthly projects.

Join Jo as we piece wonky bottles, crosses and log cabins before moving on to an undulating checkerboard panel and long strips of 'coral beads'. Plus Jo will share two different techniques to create improv triangles.

The Academy has been such a huge success that we have decided to extend the access for all our classes! These now come with Lifetime access.
Lifetime means the lifetime of the Academy (which obviously we hope continues for years and years to come!) so you can now purchase an online class without worrying about running out of time to complete your project!

Our current Academy year started on 1 May 2025 and is structured into three terms centred around the themes of Tiny, Shapes and Folk Art
The Annual and Term Passes include a community space where we can share our work and offer enthusiasm and feedback to our fellow crafters, all safely away from social media. You can also use this platform to communicate with your tutors.
Inspiration, Education and Friendship
We aim to encourage creativity and play in all our students. Our hobbies should be fun!
You will find each of us resourceful and generous teachers with years of experience to draw on. If we know how to do something then we’ll be sharing this with our Academy students! Through our pre-recorded videos and live surgeries we want our students to feel as if they are shadowing us in our sewing rooms and sharing all our trade secrets.
