Create your own tiny storage basket to hold your favourite tools with Karen

We all have tools to carry out and about when we are sewing on the move or doing hand projects in another room and Karen's mini bag is just perfect for just that.

Karen will be showing you how to not only make the bag but demonstrate how to do such tiny piecing to make the bag panels as well as suggestions for other ways to personalise your bag and add details.

Available to buy as a single class from mid June 2025.  Class goes live on 1 July.

Balancing act...

If you are anything like us you are forever misplacing tools or try to balance items on the sofa arm, but with Karen's perfectly formed bag you can have all you need in one place and be able to happily get on with the sewing job in hand!

You will be able to follow Karen's instructions to make this cute little storage caddy and soon you will be making one for everyone you know as you won't be able to stop at one!

Week 1

In week 1 we will be diving straight into how to make the front patchwork panel with diminutive 1/2" squares.

Week 2

We will expand on the technique from Week 1 to piece a second panel using HSTs made with the 8 at-a-time method.

Week 3

We will take our panels made from the previous two weeks and turn them into the front and back of our bag as we construct our Tool Tidy.

Week 4

We will look at other ideas to use for the outer of the bag. Our tiny bag making won't be stopping at one!
