Karen is going to introduce us to her simple screen printing technique that needs limited equipment and space but still produces fantastic results.

Karen has designed this fun quilt taking her influence from barn quilts to create nostalgic barn blocks with your own screen printed quilt blocks.

Available to buy as a single class from mid March 2027.  Class goes live on 1 April 2027.

Learning the skill of screen printing gives you another string to your crafting bow and coupling this with quilting enables you to create unique original projects.

In this workshop we will create all this together learning to print barn quilts and then building together four different barns on which to hang our quilts!

Week 1

In Week 1 we will start our screen printing journey by creating our stencils ready for printing. We will look at the limitations of this method and discover tricks to overcome these limitations.

Week 2

In Week 2 we will print our designs and look at ways to print in multiple colours.

Week 3

In Week 3 we will start our quilt blocks and learn to make the four different styles of barns.

Week 4

In our final week we will talk about different things we can do with our blocks from making just a single block, one of each or a full quilt.
