Double wedding rings - the easy way!

In this class Lynne will be taking you through two nice and easy processes.  The foundation paper piecing strips for these double wedding rings are incredibly quick and easy to piece, even for total newcomers to FPP.  We then tackled the curved piecing, large gentle curves with lots of marked points for pinning make for a nice and easy process. And finally the design of the quilt avoids those tricky Y seams we usually find in Double Wedding Ring quilts.

Available to buy as a single class from mid March 2024.  Class goes live on 1 April 2024.

Make one, make four, make nine, make sixteen!

Once you have the templates for this design, you can make as many DWRs as you like.  Keep it to a very simple solo ring, maybe sashed with lots of negative space for a bold modern design. Or make sixteen wedding rings for a fabulous wedding present for a loved one.

Week 1

During the first week we will be learning (or improving our skills) foundation paper piecing.  The templates are super simple and so are a great starting place for a novice FPPer or a speed challenge for the most accomplished amongst you!

Week 2

In week two we will sew those curved seams.  I have designed this block so that the seams are actually very gentle and have multiple pinning points so you will surprise yourself with how well they come together.

Week 3

Now it is time to make the blocks themselves and it will surprise you how easily they come together. Those of you who know me know that I will always find the easiest, cheat's way to do things and this design is no exception.

Week 4

In the final week we will finish off our project, whether it's a single block or a multi-block design that you've chosen.  As a bonus, I will provide you with EPP templates for any of you who (like Karen) likes to take things a bit slower!
