Say it like it is!

Adding letters and words is such a great way to personalise our patchwork and can be used simply with initials, whole names, or maybe a favourite phrase. Whatever you decide to write and whatever you decide to use your text for...from a coaster to a quilt to perhaps a zipper pouch or cushion in between...you will be able to do it easily and with panache with monoprinting.

Access for the lifetime of the Academy.   

Week 1

We will start in Week 1 with gathering our monprinting supplies and fabric ready to start learning about the technique we will be using. We might want to start thinking of the text we would like to print.

Week 2

In Week 2 we will begin our monoprinting journey. We will look at different ways we can produce pattern with this technique and start to think of how we can create the text we want to use.

Week 3

In Week 3 we will continue our monoprinting journey, placing emphasis on producing different text ideas, whether it be initials, words or phrases, remembering to mirror letters in the prep to ensure they print the correct way round.
